TIRANA, March 19 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama announced Saturday that the NATO leaders will gather in an extraordinary meeting next Wednesday, on March 24, saying that nobody knows for sure how long the Ukrainian crisis would last following Russian aggression.
“An extraordinary meeting of the NATO is scheduled to take part for first time next Wednesday. We will attend the gathering and learn about the Alliance’s decisions. We don’t know how long crisis would last and we don’t know how the crisis can deteriorate. A ceasefire could be reached sooner. God willing there will be a ceasefire, but there may not be. Negotiations are underway, but there is no ceasefire in sight. However, a possible ceasefire won’t mark the end of the war. It may take months, but it can take much longer. We do not know. We have to be mentally and psychologically prepared to resist,” he said.
