TIRANA, March 16 /ATA/- The reconceptualization of the center of Fier has brought about a complete urban transformation of the city.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has published pictures of the city this spring eve.
“GOOD MORNING, and with the spring sprouts in the heart of Fier, I wish you a nice day,” says Rama.
Rehabilitation of the Gjanica River, another government investment has completed the mosaic of changes in Fier transforming it from an under-invested area littered with garbage into one of the greenest areas of the city.
Freeing public spaces and direct access to the river; expansion of green areas in the area, mainly along the river banks and along the roads; rehabilitation of underground and ground infrastructure; the design of several plazas and axes to create connections with the central park of the city, have added a new urban dimension to the city.
This river has already become an attraction for visitors, while businesses in this area have already received an economic boost.
As part of the investments, the facades of buildings have been also restored, giving a new look to this area.
