TIRANA, February 24 /ATA/ In the domestic foreign exchange market, on Thursday the US dollar strengthened its position against the Albanian Lek, compared to yesterday, while the euro lost ground.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the American green currency strengthened by 1.66 lekë and is exchanged with 108.49 lekë, while the euro decreased by 0.06 lekë and is exchanged by 121.23 lekë.
The British pound, compared to yesterday, appreciated by 0.24 lek and climbed to the quota of 145.62 lekë.
Meanwhile, the Swiss franc is exchanged at 117.39 lekë, or 1.26 lekë more than on Wednesday./p.s./
