TIRANA, Feb 19 /ATA/ – Cycling Academy adjacent to the pedestrian area at Tirana Lake Park is the newest recreation centre for outdoor sport activities in the Albanian capital.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Saturday images showing the new Cycling Academy for kids designed as a multifunctional recreation park, featuring a bikeway as well as playground areas, including a garden maze made with plants.
“Good morning and with the new Cycling Academy for kids at the Park Lake in Tirana, I wish you a very happy weekend,” Rama said.
The Academy is designed to be a multifunctional park with a red asphalt bicycle path traversing a roundabout and a one-way street. Road signs will be installed all along the pathway, allowing children to become familiar with road signs.
The Cycling Academy in the Grand Lake Park, one of the most important projects in 2022, is designed not only to improve and enhance recreational opportunities in the park to meet the community needs for more sports activities, educational, social, entertainment, active and healthy opportunities, but also to evoke Tirana and the emblems of the capital.
The project meets the needs of all age groups of the community, including bicycle track, children’s playground modules, and passive recreation for adults.
