TIRANA, Feb 17 /ATA/ The US embassy in Tirana stated on Thursday that the Constitutional Court is demonstrating its capability to serve its primary function.
The Constitutional Court of Albania, which achieved functionality in December 2020, is demonstrating its ability to serve its primary and essential function by reviewing the facts and arguments presented by relevant parties, deliberating on these facts and arguments as they relate to the Constitution, and rendering judgments that reflect independence and integrity.
The United States strongly supports the implementation of justice reform, including a professional, independent judiciary as a core institution for the guarantee of the rule of law as well as the separation and balancing of powers, the US embassy says in a press statement.
