TIRANA, February 17/ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed today from office Edlira Cufi, prosecutor at Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office.
The Independent Qualification Commission held a hearing on Thursday to announce the decision for the subject of re-evaluation Edlira Cufi.
She was questioned on some inappropriate contacts and for conducting investigations while being in conflict of interest.
While in regard to wealth, the jury found inaccuracies in asset declarations, but without problems in the sources of their creation.
After analyzing the evidence and facts, the trial panel composed of Suela Zhegu, Etleda Çiftja, Alma Faskaj decided to dismiss Cufi from office.
Edlira Cufi started her career in the judiciary in 1995 and worked initially at the Prosecution Office of Malësia e Madhe and for more than two decades as a prosecutor in the Prosecution of Shkodra District. /j.p/p.s./
