TIRANA, February 13 /ATA/ During 2021, the excise revenues were realized in the amount of 51.6 billion lekë, 7.1 billion lekë or 16% more than in 2020, as well as 2.2 billion lekë or 4.5% more than the excise plan for the 12 months of 2021.
According to the report issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economy on fiscal indicators, the increase in fuel and cigarette imports had a significant positive impact on excise revenues.
Total revenues for the 12-month period of 2021 were realized at the rate of 510 billion or 101% of the 12-month plan. If compared to a year ago, revenues have increased by 84.5 billion lekë.
Total public expenditures, for 2021, amounted to about 596.2 billion lekë with a realization of 94.9 percent of the annual plan.
If compared to the same period of 2020, this item has been 11.1 percent higher or about 59.7 billion more.
Meanwhile, the level of deficit for 2021 resulted in about 85.8 billion lekë./p.s./
