TIRANA, February 11/ATA/ Opposition Democratic Party MP Lefter Gështenja reacted today regarding the incinerators case, saying that, so far, only the tip of the iceberg has been discovered.
Gështenja said that, “The first investigations confirmed that the DP was right, but so far only the tip of the iceberg has been discovered”.
He stated that 17 procedures were completed in 24 hours time only to approve the concession for the incinerator of Elbasan.
“Other persons like Arben Ahmetaj, Damjan Gjiknuri, Ëngjëll Agaçi were involved in these procedures and many other officials. But, of course, nothing could have been done without the prior knowledge and approval of Edi Rama. Albania is today the most corrupted country in Europe. PM Rama is corrupted. His government is corrupted. While these people are at the helm, Albania can have no development. Albanians must abandon the past and the corrupted,” he said./p.s./
