TIRANA, January 21 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that thanks to vetting and the justice reform there is being cleaned an unprecedented scum in the judiciary.
During an online conversation with the citizens on justice reform and January 21 tragic event, PM Rama pointed to the fact that the justice reform is being implemented only for a short time and things have happened.
“It could not have been imagined until a few years ago when the justice reform passed. An unprecedented slum in the justice system is being massively cleaned. That slum of judges and prosecutors who have been the executors of justice. That slum of judges and prosecutors who have sold and bought the right as they wished and without cleaning that slum of judges and prosecutors everything else is in vain. It will be done through the Vetting. Vetting continues there is still slum and it does not end”, said Rama.
PM Rama added that, “The judges and prosecutors who are part of this slum and who today continue to be in the system, because it is not their turn to be vetted yet, continue to wreak havoc. Catch what you can before they get fired by the vetting. Some of them even run away on their own when vetting day comes. They do not appear at all because they have already finished their bargains.”
PM Rama emphasized that vetting is the way because we are not in 1945 when the political power did then trials and we are not the same with other countries that have been on this way for a long time./j.p/p.s./
