TIRANA, January 21/ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported that in the last 24 hours there have been performed 9485 tests, of which 2670 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
“There are 24,105 active patients with COVID-19 throughout the country. Currently, 134 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 13 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there happened six deaths with SARS-COV-2 positive: Two citizens from Saranda, 36 and 84 years old, two citizens from Tirana, 62 and 80 years old, one citizen from Berat, 66 years old, one citizen from Gjirokastra, 67 years old. 2,152 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of the cured to 216,785 since the beginning of the epidemic,” the ministry said.
