TIRANA, Jan 11 /ATA/ The Albanian Road Authority (ARA) informs that due to low temperatures, rock salt is being applied on the road axes covered with snow to avoid frost, such as in Tropoja, Kukës, Korça.
According to ARA, cold weather, without precipitation, has swept across the country and according to the weather forecast during the night the temperatures will drop below 0 degrees Celsius.
ARA appeals to drivers to exercise caution when traveling at night and in the early hours and to strictly adhere to road signage, to slow down and use snow tires.
