TIRANA, January 4 /ATA/- The city of serenades or as it is also known, the “Little Paris”, Korça, has already become a “tourist magnet” that attracts holidaymakers from all over the country and abroad.
Remarkable for the hospitality and rare tradition that appears from its features that one on a visit notices to the cuisine, the typical holidays, especially the New Year assumes a special significance.
The city of Korça continues to be the favorite choice of tourists especially for Christmas and New Year.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted photos from Korça where as the date marked January 3, the city was still crowded with numerous visitors.
“January 3, 2022, evening in Korça”, PM Rama wrote as a caption next to the photos.
The special decoration with lights and the symbols of the Christmas and the New Year holiday, located in the Old Bazaar of Korça, add to this city a fascinating beauty.
Even this year, hotels, restaurants and other service shops have been filled with tourists, adding liveliness to the city of Korça.
Accommodation capacities in the Korça region in recent years have been increased with 20 new units (hotels and inns) offering more beds and comfortable conditions for holidaymakers.
The increase in the number of visitors has also created the need to increase accommodation capacity, thus creating a trend in the construction of inns and hotels which are positioned mainly in characteristic areas of the city. There are the citizens of Korça themselves who have transformed the characteristic Korça houses into guesthouses for tourists./p.s./
