TIRANA, Dec 22 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection updated the data on the pandemic situation in the last 24 hours.
According to MoHSP, of 3,696 tests performed, 343 citizens tested positive for COVID-19.
“165 citizens in Tirana, 17 in Vlora, 15 in Fier, 12 in Saranda, 11 in Durrës, 10 in Kamza, 9 in Elbasan, 8 in Vora, 6 in Divjaka, 5 in Shkodra, Mat, Memaliaj, Korçë, Berat, Kuçovë, 4 in Lezhë, Mirditë, Patos, Lushnje, Tepelena, Skrapar, 3 in Malësi e Madhe, Tropojë, Kurbin, Kavaja, Mallakastër, Devoll, 2 in Krujë, Rrogozhinë, Dibër, Gjirokastër, 1 in Kukës, Has, Shijak, Selenicë, Himarë, Maliq, Dimal, Belsh, Peqin, Librazhd ”, the ministry announces.
There are 5,173 active cases of COVID-19.
Currently 123 patients are getting medical care in COVID designated hospitals, of whom 12 are in more serious condition.
“In the last 24 hours there are 2 fatalities due to SARS-COV-2: Two citizens from Tirana 66 and 76 years old”, informed the ministry.
According to the data, 333 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to date at 198,263 since the outset of the epidemic.
