Tirana holds “RETRO CHRISTMAS” parade for first time

TIRANA, December 20 /ATA/ The parade of historical vehicles “RETRO CHRISTMAS” returned to Tirana this weekend while the capital has entered the holiday season.

The retro vehicle parade took place in the streets of the capital accompanied by jazz & swing music, while later stopped at the ministry square, near the promenade area until late last night.

Such retro parades have been held recently in many cities of the country, but also in Kosovo, which in addition to revealing the values of the collection, create a festive atmosphere.

In Albania, there are a considerable number of early road vehicles, but because there was no legal act to protect and promote this passion, they have never been fully exposed. So activities of this kind are a manifestation of beauty on four wheels.

Now, the Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services Tirana has created the Albanian Historic Center RETRO, a space where you can find early vehicles and not only, but also parts of vehicles, documentation, license plates stored by collectors of old items or relics and that are maintained./p.s./
