TIRANA Dec 17 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ The High Court has announced on Friday the names of the candidates for filling the vacancy on the Constitutional Court, created by the departure of Gani Dizdari (full 9-year term).
The press release of the High Court states that “Vice Chief Justice of the High Court, based on article 125 point 1 of the Constitution and article 7 / ç of law no. 8577, dated 10.02.2000, “On the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania”, as amended, on 15.11.2021 has published an announcement for filling a vacancy in the Constitutional Court created by the departure of Gani Dizdari ( full 9-year term).”
Also, the High Court published the names of 5 candidates to fill 1 vacancy in the Constitutional Court.
“After the expiry of the 30-day deadline for receiving applications from candidates, the candidates who have submitted a request to compete for this vacant position are: Brunilda Kadi, Ilir Toska, Holta Zaçaj, Manjola Xhaxho, Tartar Bazaj.
