Co-governance, Rama: Citizens’ relation with online state, counters close by January

TIRANA, December 14 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that beginning from January next year, the counters for public services will begin to close.

At an event in Berat for presentation of the new law on Co-Governance, PM Rama stressed that, “The reason for these meetings is to make all citizens aware of two important innovations which today are a great opportunity, to receive services in a fast time, without queues, without leaving home at all, but using the smartphone or computer and on the other hand to immediately set in motion a new legal mechanism which is co-governance. This is a process created and advanced in the last mandate to come to the aid of citizens in receiving services and has got transformed into a law that will enter into force soon, once it goes to the Parliament after the absurd rejection made by the president “.

Regarding the services, Rama informed that, “Today, there are over 1 thousand services that are provided directly online and all citizens through the e-Albania platform have the opportunity to access these services without leaving home at all. This is true even for the Cadastre itself, which is one of the most requested and the most talked about services. Today, it is not necessary to go to the counter, but the application can be made directly by phone or computer and then the Cadastre Agency is obliged to notify in time for the issuance of documentation.

If it happens that the relevant office does not respond in time, PM Rama said that, “First of all, the system gives the Agency and the E-Albania platform the opportunity to ascertain the delays, but on the other hand every citizen has the opportunity to addresses to the platform of co-governance and immediately demand accountability and receive service again “./j.p/p.s./
