TIRANA, December 6 /ATA/ The Albanian Road Authority reported that in spite of the heavy rains during the recent hours, the vehicles can move normally along all the roads.
The Authority said that during the night and early hours of the morning, there has been rain of average intensity, but that has not hampered the movement along the national roads.
“The contractors have cleaned the roads of the falling stones or inert materials on the ground and are on alert to cope with every situation”, said the Authority.
The Authority also called on the drivers to be careful while driving, observe road signs and cut speed because of humidity on the road.
Weather conditions affected the departure of ferries from Durrës port to Bari, Italy, with several hours delay; respectively “Af Francesca” departed at 02:35 and “Rigel VII” departed to Bari at 02:50.
Meanwhile, the Military Meteorological Service reported that our country will be under influence of unsettled weather conditions. The weather will be cloudy and rainy. In the Northern areas and Western lowlands there will be heavy rain and storm. While in the mountains above the 600 meters from the sea level, there will be snow.
The sea will have a force of 3-4 degrees.
While the temperatures will vary from 3°C in Dibra to 14 in Vlora./p.s./
