TIRANA, November 26/ATA/ Veterans of Albania and Kosovo will return to the pitch to play a friendly football match on occasion of Albania’s Independence Day.
The friendly match between the two teams consisting of former famous football players of the two representative teams will be played on November 28, 2021, at 11:30 in the “Olympic Park” complex in Durres.
According to the tradition established for a long time, the Albanian Football Federation and the Football Federation of Kosovo have agreed on playing a friendly on an important day in the history of Albania.
In the list of red and blacks players invited for this match are names who have made history with the red and blacks jersey and who have played with the Albanian National Team such as Blendi Nallbani, Ilir Bozhiqi, Elvis Sina, Geri Çipi, Ervin Fakaj, Hysen Zmijani, Armend Dallku, Debatik Curri , Luan Pinari, Bajram Fraholli, Ardian Mema, Ilir Alliu, Gilman Lika, Redi Jupi, Latif Gjondeda, Eqerem Memushaj, Fjodor Xhafa, Fatbardh Jera, Agustin Kola, Migen Memelli, while on the bench in the role of coach will be the former well-known football player Sulejman Mema.
At the end of the match, a symbolic trophy will be handed over to the winning team. This will be the third friendly played during the current year between the veterans of Albania and Kosovo.
