TIRANA, Nov. 22 /ATA/ Consumer loans continues to be disbursed at stable interest rates.
According to the official data of the Bank of Albania, in the third quarter of 2021, consumer loan interest rates reached an average of 8.3%, staying close to the levels observed in the first half of the year and last year.
The BoA announced that, the consumer loan portfolio increased to over ALL 33 billion at the end of September, marking an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period a year earlier.
The growth of consumer loans was seen in the segment of durable goods, related to investment in vehicles, electrical equipment, electronics, etc.
Meanwhile, its expansion addresses the continuation of easing of lending standards for households by banks during the third quarter of 2021. //a.i/
