TIRANA, Nov 19 /ATA/ Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi and the US Ambassador in Tirana Yuri Kim paid a visit to the “Sadik Stavileci” school to promote the English Access Micro scholarship program, which is supported by the US Department of State.
This program is designed to deepen knowledge in English, in order to enable Albanian students to actively participate in the development of the country, and gives them the opportunity to learn about American culture and values.
Minister Kushi thanked the Embassy and the US for their support towards Albania in many areas, especially in education.
Beneficiaries of the Micro Scholarship Program in English (Access) are excellent students, as well as those who come from disadvantaged families.
