TIRANA, Nov 13 /ATA/ The Democratic Party head Lulzim Basha stated on Saturday that “vetting of politics frees Albania from the clutches of corruption, punishes corrupt politicians and restores the government to the citizens.”
Basha said that “in the eyes of Albanians and the whole world, Albania is a country caught by corruption, where power-holders have a lot of leverage and the well-being of citizens keeps waning.”
“To restore the government to the citizens, the impunity of corrupt politicians must come to an end, politics must be cleansed of abusers who have become rich at the expense of the citizens, politics should be vetted as soon as possible,” he said. /m.m/sm/
