Prime Minister Edi Rama has described this budget as a digital revolution in State Police.
“The draft budget 2022 envisages 472% more investments than the year 2021 for technology in the State Police,” Rama said.
On-road cameras and intelligent drones are two projects that will be funded next year, which will be a great leap forward in good governance of the territory.
The intelligent drones will be available to the State Police and will enable them to organize in real time the pursuit of persons declared wanted, identification of persons even when hiding in the forest, with their body temperature.
All these investments will increase data collecting capacity of the State Police and improve the relationship of the State Police with the people by minimizing physical contact.
