Parliament approves Normative Act on changes to 2021 budget

TIRANA, Nov.8 /ATA/ The Assembly approved today with 74 votes in favor and 49 against the Normative Act on changes to the 2021 budget.

This Normative Act is related to two emergency issues, coping with the energy crisis, as a result of the immediate rise in prices in international markets, and the issuance of Eurobonds in international capital markets.

The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj said at the today’s plenary session that, through this Normative Act, the indicators of budget revenues and expenditures for 2021 will not change.

This is the fifth time that Albania seeks financing in international capital markets, through the Eurobond.

The Minister Ibrahimaj said that, Albania has always secured lower interest rates while the interest of investors has increased more and more. //a.i/
