TIRANA, Nov 4 /ATA/ The Chair of the High Judicial Council, Naureda Llagami, received on Thursday Susanne Schütz, Head of the Directorate for Southeast Europe, Turkey and EFTA countries at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is in our country as part of government consultations.
“The meeting touched on advancement of justice reform in Albania and its importance for the judicial system as a whole, for the judiciary troupe but also for Albanian citizens who expect and deserve delivery of efficient and speedy justice,” sources from HJC say.
Other important issues under discussion were efficiency of the judicial system, the adoption and implementation of the new judicial map, as well as constructive inter-institutional cooperation.
Schütz was accompanied at the meeting by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Peter Zingraf.
