TIRANA, Nov.2/ATA/ Loans for energy sector marked the highest level compared to other sectors.
According to the official data published by the Bank of Albania-BoA, in September of 2021, loans for energy sector marked a significant growth, reaching ALL 1.28 billion, compared to 231 million in August.
Bank experts said that, the government’s policies on diversification of investments in the energy sector, in addition to HPPs, photovoltaic or wind farms are also being supported by the expansion of loans.
Meanwhile, energy sector has continued to lead foreign direct investment-FDI in Albania, recording the largest share of investment, with about 28% of the total. //a.i/
