TIRANA, Nov.1 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Monday that, 1930 tests were conducted and 197 persons tested positive for the Sars- Cov2 in the past 24 hours in Albania.
The ministry in its updated communication on epidemiological situation in the country confirmed; 93 cases in Tirana, 21 cases in Fier, 9 cases in Gjirokastra, 8 cases in Kamza, 8 cases in Saranda, 7 cases in Durres, 4 cases in Skrapar, 4 cases in Tepelena, 4 cases in Konispol, 4 cases in Vora, 3 cases in Tropoja, 3 cases in Lezha, 3 cases in Lushnja, 3 cases in Divjaka, 3 cases in Berat, 2 cases in Gramsh, 2 cases in Elbasan, 2 cases in Mallakastra, 1 case in Kukes, 1 case in Kurbin, 1 case in Kruja, 1 case in Dibër, 1 case in Bulqiza, 1 case in Mat, 1 case in Patos, 1 case in Vlora, 1 case in Delvinë, 1 case in Këlcyrë, 1 case in Pogradec, 1 case in Kolonjë, 1 case in Poliçan, 1 case in Peqin.
According to Ministry of Health, there are currently 7717 active cases in Albania with 166 patients hospitalized and 16 in critical conditions.
Seven more COVID-related fatalities have been recorded in past 24 hours in the country.
229 more Covid-infected person recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of recovered coronavirus patients to 174,849 since the novel coronavirus outbreak in early March 2020. //a.i/
