TIRANA, Oct.25/ATA/ In the third quarter of 2021, there has been an increase in business loan approval rates, the Bank of Albania-BoA reported on Monday.
The increase in business loans came as a result of the easing of lending standards for businesses, which was driven by the banks’ lower risk perception of the current economic situation and prospects, as well as the business’s financial position.
According to the Bank of Albania, the ratio of rejected loans versus total business loan applications marked a decline in the third quarter of this year.
Decrease in the rate of business loan application rejection was driven by business- bank relationship history; current business credit status as well as their financial statements. This policy also reflected the easing of lending standards for businesses, which, according to banks, continued in the third quarter of 2021,” BoA said. //a.i/
