TIRANA, Oct.24/ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party brought to attention the constitutional changes that have already been submitted to the Assembly, as a way to return to Democracy.
“Constitutional changes are necessary to return to democracy, the punishment of high-level corruption and the separation of politics from crime. This is only the first step, it will be followed by a full package of constitutional changes that will limit and guarantee the separation of powers to open Albania’s path to the EU”, the DP leader Basha said in a statement to the media.
The Democratic Party has submitted to the Assembly amendments to constitutional changes focused on electoral reform, territorial reform and the vetting of politicians.//a.i/
