TIRANA Oct 23 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/- The Democratic Party (DP) chairman, Lulzim Basha, stated on Saturday that “the investigative commission for elections is necessary to prevent another party, state, crime and oligarchy knot tied round the throat of Albanians.”
In a press conference, Basha said that “in its political action at the beginning of the legislature, among others, the Democratic Party has urged the establishment of 3 commissions of inquiry, a commission of inquiry into the election massacre, a commission of inquiry into mafia incinerators and a commission of inquiry into the Becheti case .”
“As you have seen, the Commission of Inquiry into the Electoral Massacre has been set up, and despite the efforts to sabotage it, we are determined to throw light on what happened with the vote of the Albanians, in order to prevent another state, crime and oligarchy knot tied round the throat of Albanian democracy, ” he said.
Basha said that the commissions of inquiry into the incinerators and Becchetti may be delayed, but cannot be held back.
