TIRANA, Oct.7 /ATA/ The Albania’s Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi received today in a meeting the General Director of Lebanon’s General Security Agency, Major General Abbas Ibrahim and the Consul General of Albania in Lebanon Marc Ghorayeb, the two key figures in the repatriation operations of Albanians from ISIS camps in Syria.
In his remarks, Minister Çuçi said that, the operations will continue, without revealing more details from the meeting in Tirana.
“It has been a special honor to meet again Major General Abbas Ibrahim, at the same time the General Director of Lebanon’s General Security Agency and the Consul General of Albania in Lebanon, Marc Ghorayeb. They are paying a two-day visit to Tirana. I expressed my grateful thanks for the extraordinary contribution they have made to the repatriation of Albanians from Syria’s hell camps. Our gratitude to them will remain eternal.Along with the General and the Consul, as well as our structures of the State Police, we are continuing the work on repatriation of Albanian citizens from Syria. These are difficult operations that take time, but we already have a good experience and the right determination to get things done,” Minister Çuçi said. //a.i/
