TIRANA, October 6 /ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj stated today that household consumers and small business that will be affected by the global energy crisis will be protected by the government.
After the government meeting, Ahmetaj stated that an inter-institutional working group has been set up to manage the situation and that a financial support package is being prepared and will be presented next week.
“The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the companies that are in this field are working within the inter-institutional group to guarantee uninterrupted supply and access to the international market to buy energy continuously so that there are no power outages,” said Ahmetaj.
