TIRANA, Oct 3 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, reacted on Sunday regarding some news items published in the media that Albania will be a hub for illegal immigrants that will be flown from third parties.
In her posting, Minister Xhaçka states that the news that a hub for asylum seekers from third countries can be set up in Albania is a downright lie.
“There have never been any talks about this idea. The fabrication of a fake news like this by English media outlets is shameful. We are proud to offer shelter to 4000 Afghan refugees, which we have done in the eyes of the whole world, but never will be turn into a hub for bigger and richer countries than us to deport their asylum seekers. I have instructed our diplomatic mission in the UK to seek the immediate refutation of this fake news,” Xhaçka says. /j.p/sm/
