TIRANA, September 29/ATA/ Education Minister Evis Kushi stated today that in 78% of the schools in the country the teaching process is being held normally, one shift and 45 minute class period.
While in the central areas of the cities, where the number of students is higher and it happens to be impossible keeping a distance among the students in the classrooms, Kushi said that, “We are obliged to apply the double-shift school so that to prevent spread of infection among the students and the teachers”.
However, the minister emphasized that, “This decision is temporary and valid only under the actual situation of pandemics while the Committee of Experts makes constant evaluations of the situation and takes decisions”.
The minister said she hopes the situation will turn to normal soon highlighting the fact that 71% of the teachers have received both vaccine jabs and 17% of them have received the first dose./m.m//a.a/p.s./
