TIRANA, Sept 28 /ATA/ French investments in our country expanded threefold in the first 6 months of this year.
According to the data of the Bank of Albania, the French investments in our country reached the value of EUR 47 million, about three and a half times more compared to a year ago.
The business activity comes mainly from construction companies that have worked as subcontractors of the TAP pipeline, but also from French companies in Albania in the field of ALEAT identification document production, or in the mining sector, such as bitumen exploration and processing.
The stock of French investments in the middle of this year totalled EUR 346 mln.
