TIRANA, Sept 28 /ATA/ The financial sector for the first 6 months of this year continued to make significant investments, hitting the value of EUR 76 million, an increase of 27% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
The Bank of Albania announces that foreign investments in this important sector of the country’s economy have maintained significant values in recent years, which is tied to the continuous capital injections from banking groups to their Albanian subsidiaries.
Meanwhile the banking industry in Albania in recent years is consolidating its position through transactions with large international banking groups.
