TIRANA, Sept. 10/ATA/ The average gross monthly salary has increased for the three consecutive months, the Albanian Institute of Statistics-INSTAT reported on Friday.
INSTAT said that, in the second quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly salary is 56,710 ALL, increasing by 4.7%, compared to the same quarter last year.
According to INSTAT, “during the second quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly salary per employee in the financial and insurance activities sector is 2.13 times higher than the average monthly salary at national level.

In the second quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly salary in the Trade activity group; transport; accommodation and food service activities saw the largest increase of 9.2%, while the smallest increase was recorded in the group-activity of Real estate activities, scientific, professional and technical activities; administrative and support service activities of 0.7%.
Compared to the same quarter of last year, in the second quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly salary of workers in elementary occupations recorded the largest increase of 8.9%, while the Professional Employment Group saw a smaller increase of 0.6%. //a.i/
