TIRANA, Sept. 7/ATA/ In August of 2021, the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) stood at the level of 9.8%, above the long-term average, the Bank of Albania-BoA announced on Tuesday.
According to the Business and Consumer Survey, published by the BoA, business confidence in the construction and services sectors, along with consumer confidence continued to improve in August of 2021.
While, the decline in ESI was mainly influenced by the decline in confidence in the trade sector as well as in the industry sector.
The construction confidence index (CCI) and the services confidence indicator (SCI) increased by 0.8%, respectively, compared to the previous month.
