TIRANA, Aug 30 /ATA/ The decision of the Bank of Albania to reduce the commissions on all domestic transfers in the amount of ALL 20,000 has increased interbank payments.
The Bank of Albania announces that an average of 76 thousand transactions are conducted every month through the system of small value payments.
This number of transactions is 15% higher compared to the 7-month period of 2020.
The AECH system of the Bank of Albania enables the processing of interbank transfers in local currency up to the value of ALL 1.5 million, while transfers in higher value are processed through the other AIPS system. /a.a/sm/
