TIRANA, Aug 28 /ATA/ – The Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj said Saturday that registering trademark and patent defends business from unfair competition and ensures authenticity in the market.
The Finance Minister highlighted the example of a female entrepreneur in Finiq, southern Albania, operating for more than 16 years in the market.
“Valentina runs a factory, where in addition to olive oil processing, the artisanal soap Santa Sophia is produced,” Denaj said, underlining that she is an example of the successful female entrepreneurs contributing to the economic development of the village of Dhermish and adopting environmental-friendly processes.
“Valentine will apply for registration of the trademark of her product with the General Directorate of Patents and Trademarks and Industrial Properties,” Denaj said.
