TIRANA, Aug 12 /ATA/ – Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, said on Thursday that the ministry she runs is committed to the process of EU accession and has set up ALL 13 roundtables on the chapters it covers.
Denaj said that, “the German government, through GIZ, supported the establishment of chapter tables focused on the free movement of goods, the right of establishment and freedom to provide services, industrial policies, consumer protection and public health.”
PPIE is the structure through which the government, in the role of the stakeholder responsible for negotiations with the EU, creates spaces for dialogue and partnership with non-state actors, for the latter to contribute to the process of accession negotiations.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy with the support of the SANECA project funded by the German federal government and implemented by GIZ Albania has the responsibility to set up the roundtables on the chapters of the EU Acquis, for which this institution is responsible.
