TIRANA, August 9/ATA/- Many fires in the forests have been intentional and clear cases of arson attacks.
The Ministry of Interior reported that in the last three days 13 people have been prosecuted for arson attack and are due to face justice.
Meanwhile, the State Police is continuing the work to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators of arson attacks all over the country.
In this context, Fier local police arrested 2 citizens, one in Mallakastër and one in Fier.
All the evidence found has been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
The State Police took the opportunity to extend an appeal to all residents so that not to cause any arson attack otherwise they will face the law. The police also invited the citizens to report to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat for any case of arson, guaranteeing anonymity and a quick and impartial response from the relevant police structures./p.s./
