TIRANA, Aug 5 /ATA/ The ground and air fire-fighting operations have contained the fires in the area of the Vlora River.
Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, shared on Thursday the good news of disaster prevention in the area of Vlora River.
Peleshi informed that the ground fire-fighting operation in Karaburun has been assisted by helicopter despite the tough flying conditions.
According to him, the crews have intervened in Vithkuq (Korça), in Mallakastër, in Tarabosh (Shkodër), Qerem (Tropoja), Kalise (Kukës), Mavropull (Delvina) etc.
