TIRANA, July 30/ATA/ The 9th judge has been appointed to the High Court today.
President Ilir Meta issued the relevant decree appointing Asim Vokshi the new member of the High Court.
His appointment was made by proposal of the High Judicial Council.
One more to go so that the High Court can appoint judges to the Constitutional Court.
“Let’s keep moving forward, step by step, so that justice reform can deliver more results and stays on path to the EU”, said the U.S. ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim in her reaction.
This is an important step forward for implementation of the Justice Reform. Once the 10th is appointed, High Court will have the necessary quorum to appoint 3 more judges to the Constitutional Court. /p.s./
