TIRANA, July 28 /ATA/ The public hospital in Albania offers radiotherapy, the treatment that kills tumor cells, 100% free of charge.
The Compulsory Health Insurance Fund reported that it has financed 11,527 radiotherapy sessions which have been realized at the University Hospital Center (QSUT) during 2021.
The Radiotherapy Unit at the QSUT already has the potential of modern treatments through investments in new equipment and techniques, which have increased the quality of service and reduced patient queues.
At this unit, there are already achieved the European standards and treatment which previously could not be done with the old equipment./k.s/p.s./
