TIRANA, July 27 /ATA/ The increase of foreign investments, the increase of remittances and a better tourist season than last year strengthened the positions of Lek in relation to foreign currencies in the domestic foreign exchange market.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US green currency depreciated on Tuesday by 0.05 Lek and is exchanged at 103.43 Lek, while the euro lost 0.19 points and is exchanged at 121.85 Lek.
The British pound fell to the quota of 142.54 Lek, depreciating by 0.11 Lek from yesterday.
While the Swiss franc is exchanged for 112.61 Lek, or 0.14 Lek less than yesterday.
