TIRANA, July 22/ATA/ “Guri i Kamjes” a natural monument near the Dardha village in Pogradec has become part of tourist packages and is attracting the attention of foreign tourists visiting Albania.
In recent days, “Guri i Kamjes” in Pogradec attracted many Russian tourists who visited and explored the natural beauties of the area.
“Guri i Kamjes” is located near the village of Dardha in the region of Pogradec, near the Lipova Pass, 1461 m above sea level.
It represents an interesting form of relief in the shape of “a ship sailing on high seas”. It is about 100 m long, about 80 m wide and about 70 m high.
Its relief has been affected by erosion and wind processes which caused strange microforms .
It has scientific geo-morphological and geological values, but also cultural, tourist and didactic values of local significance.
It is in the itinerary: Pogradec-Leshnicë-Trebinjë and is valid as a destination for people fond of nature tourism. //a.i/
