TIRANA, July 7/ATA/ The Complaints and Sanctions Commission confirmed the incumbent mayor of Mallakastra, Qerim Ismailaj.
At the end of the administrative review of the request of DP, based on the analysis of facts and evidence administered by a majority of votes, in pursuit of the article of the Criminal Code, CSC decided to drop the appeal of the DP and uphold the decision of State Election Commissioner, for reviewing the result of the verification of General Prosecution for the self-declaring subject, Qerim Ismailaj, mayor of Mallakastra.
The Democratic Party had appealed the decision of the CEC, which mandated the mayor of Mallakastra to hold the office of Mallakastra mayor despite the fact that he had been convicted in Greece./m.m/j.p/sm/
