TIRANA, July 6/ATA/ The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti inspected today the restoration works on the castle of Preza, which was damaged by the earthquake of November 2019.
“Thanks to the financial support of the Prince Claus Fund-Sweden and the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Heritage, the United States has begun work on rebuilding the Clock Tower, the Circular Tower and the restoration of the fortification walls,” Minister Margariti said.
Minister Margariti said that, “during the conversation with the engineers and experts engaged in the implementation of the project on the restoration of the building, a number of difficulties were identified, but we hope that within a short time of period, the castle of Preza will be ready to welcome visitors, who can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful view offered from the height of the Castle.” //a.i/
