TIRANA, June 30/ATA/ In the first 5 months of 2021, the trade exchanges with Germany accounted for 6% of the total, ranking this country as the fourth trading partner.
According to the official data published by the Albania’s Institute of Statistics-INSTAT, in the first 5 months of this year, imports to Germany marked an increased to ALL 20.6 billion compared to ALL 17.6 billion in the same period of 2020.
While, in the 5-month period of 2021, exports increased to ALL 7.7 billion, up from ALL 6.8 billion in the same period of 2020.
According to the report on foreign trade, the largest contributors to the export growth were the group “textiles and footwear” with about ALL 3 billion, followed by the group “construction materials and metals” with ALL 2.3 billion. //a.i/
