TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ – By B. Naska/ Open Cinema ”after a number of setbacks created by the Covid-induced restrictions in the fourth season, has embarked on its journey to open the fifth edition in a much more relaxed situation. This activity aims to promote film producers and other professionals in the field of cinematography in Albania.
The fifth edition of this activity started off with the city of Patos where the films “The locomotive” by Ermal Qori and “Criminal” by Christian Borova were screened for the public in an open-air place.
The journey will span 12 different cities of Albania. Invited to this activity will be well-known personalities in various fields of art such as Irma Libohova, Jorgo Papingji, Mevlan Shanaj, Natasha Lako etc.
This activity intended to promote cinema and film producers is held with the support of the “National Center of Cinematography” and the municipalities of the cities where it will take place. To attract the attention of the public to this event, but also to entertain them in these hot summer days, renowned singers of modern Albanian music will be featured during its days.
Skënder Jaçe, who is also the producer of this activity, says that “our strategy for this year will focus on the idea that cinematography remains one of the most popular arts, which conveys strong messages about life, humanity.”
